Conversations About Living and Coping With Food Allergy: The Day-to-Day Realities
Excellent food allergy management involves both medical management and attention to the psychosocial stressors impacting daily life.

At the University of Michigan food allergy clinic, licensed clinical social worker Kim Menzel is an integral member of the care team, meeting with patients and families to identify anxiety, gaps in food allergy knowledge, and develop coping strategies.

Join us May 14 at 4 pm for the Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center webinar, “Conversations About Living and Coping With Food Allergy: The Day-to-Day Realities." Ms. Menzel will discuss the social and emotional aspects of living with food allergy, including strategies for reducing anxiety, navigating school, socializing, travel, and improving quality of life of patients and families.

This Zoom webinar will include the opportunity for live questions, but you are welcome to submit them in advance to mpreddy@med.umich.edu
